When Building a House

What’s the worth of a house
In providing a home,
For safety and care
To both known and unknown.

Is it the thick walls
To shield those therein?
Or something unseen
To ward off the harsh wind?

The real test of its strength
For those making this home,
Was it warranted God’s favor
For they were never alone.
