There’s A Mouse in the House

At the Nursing Home

If I were a mouse roaming these halls
What would I see, hear, or do?
“May I help you somehow”,
“Maybe get you a towel”,
“Or bring something, needed for you”?

“Let me help you there”,
               “Maybe take you somewhere”
“Whatever makes you feel better”.
“There’s nothing, we can’t do”
“Between me and with you
To accomplish your needs whatsoever”.

Oh, I can assume when passing each room
The mouse, hearing giggling inside,
These rooms are their castles
Where they refuse to let hassles
Like mice slipping in to abide.

Many mysteries here, are often unseen
With disputes all settled in fun.
I think I now, know
Why things work so well, though,
‘Cause everyone works on the run!
