Ask for God’s Help
*Sin is disobedience to God and defined in (1John 3: 4), as transgression of the law or behavior contrary to the will of God; simple disobedience to God in any form.
*The penalty for sin is (Romans 6: 23.), both spiritual and physical death.
*Salvation is the deliverance from danger and the power of sin through the atonement of Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the Cross of Calvary for the sin debt of all humanity, past, present, and future.
*Salvation is a gift from God to redeem humanity from the curse and bondage of sin that originated in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3: 6) (Ephesians 2: 8-9) (Romans 6: 23).
*Heaven is a place where those who love God with all their hearts and souls and have an acceptable relationship with God by God through God’s unmerited favor called grace will someday inherit. This heavenly place is described in
(1 Cor. 2: 9).
*Hell is a real place created by God for Satan and his angels for their rebellion and war in heaven (Revelation 12: 7-12).
*Disciples are followers of Jesus’ teaching who had developed an acceptable relationship with Jesus the Christ and by Jesus the Christ through the Holy Spirit of God. Today, disciples are known as Christian believers. This is possible by unmerited favor called “grace” through “faith” by believing wholeheartedly in Jesus and acceptance of his payment for their sin debt to God the Father with a promise of a home in heaven after death and judgment.
