Believers Visiting Nursing Homes
I have something to share
‘bout some friends whom I care,
Who are sharp, smart, and funny.
I know them quite well
So I surely, can tell
They come, to take some, of my money.
We play Bingo for fun
But it’s clear, everyone
Loves time with friends, when we play.
They tingle my ear
Whenever I hear
Why don’t you come, every day?
Often, I’ve found,
When God’s children abound
Filled with God’s joy, for sharing,
Although filled with His love
Sent to them from above,
They seem to know little, ‘bout caring.
God commands to His children
To go, tell, of His love
If only, they’ll take time, to listen.
For to stand in the gap
Is more than just that,
It’s answering the call when it’s given!
