What’s the difference between
Something we make,
And something created we claim?
It’s unique, we say
In our own special way
Though it’s made from some other’s brain.
Thousands of items are made every day
All are made different
Yet, the same.
By changing a bit
For a much better fit
It’s the same, except for the name.
Creating declares that this something is new
Far beyond
What we can achieve.
For the new product then
Can be formed only when
From nothing, the eye can perceive.
To say to create is quite something to claim
Yet this something
Must follow what’s true.
Do we really believe
That we can achieve
What only our Father can do?
The Bible states when God spoke, there was light. (Gen. 1: 3)
Followed by all
Seen and heard.
Land, sky, and sea
And all that would be
Including the fish and the birds. (Gen. 2: 1-3)
In climaxing His work that He started
God finished
His creative plan.
A marvel to see
I’m sure you’ll agree
God’s likeness in forming the man! (Gen. 1: 27)
