My father was such a noble man
To live upon this earth.
He made his mark on those he met
And left with them his worth.
His life was special, and blessed by God
To offer help and hand. (Deut. 28: 1-14)
Gifted, with a brilliant mind
Was sought in great demand.
He took his stand and held his ground.
I watched him take his shot.
I praise the Lord, a promise kept
And times, remembering not.(Micah 7: 19) (Jonah 3: 1)
If my life, could only fit,
Within the shadow, of this man, (1 Tim. 4: 12)
I’d claim I’d made the best of it
In doing the best I can.
I long to see his smiling face
And hear him softly say,
I came here to the Gate to see
If this day’s, your Today! (1 Thess. 4: 14-18)
